Dog was a product of the Wepon X project similar to X23/Laura Kinney. He escaped when he was 11 and His memories of weapon X were represed in his mind, leading him to not even know he was a mutant. for years he lived fosterhome to fosterhome, running away any chance he got. until around 2000*, when he was descovered and adopted by the X-men.

*this story takes place in my own version of the X-men timeline.

Mutation and Abilites: healing factor, hightened sense of smell & strength, 3 claws inbetween his knuckles which come out to be just longer than his fingers, adimantum coats his skeleton & wires and smaller electronic devices run throught his body

Friends: Jubilee is his ride or die, Kitty Pryde when he sees her, Wanda Maximoff (when she doesnt hate him), and his bandmates (names still pending)

He has a band?: yep, its nu metal/alt rock, he put alot of effort into it at the start but now he never really thinks about it.

As stated previously, Dog's story takes place in my own version of the X-men universe, there are aspects taken from several different iterations, the main ones being:

X-men TAS + X-men 97'

X-men:evolution

and the first two X-men movies xP

Specific elements such as the states of each character will be shown in further detail as the story goes on/as Dog interacts with them !

Insporation

Dog And his story where mainly thought up after I read Wolverine: Origins and kind of fell in love with how the younger Wolverine is portrayed. If he had gotten support from those around him and if things had just turned out a little bit better who knows what kind of a person Logan would have become instead.

like, what would have happened if someone with the same habits of isolation went through what Logan did, but if they had present day Logan to guide them through it. And then of course I thought "and what if he was emo too" and dog was born.

his design was mainly inspired by the "olderbrother-core" aestetic, being everything I wish I was. I dont really rember where his name came from, around the time i was figuring out his character i was thinking about changing my own name and my pronouns to something canine-like because it made me feel more like me. This didnt end up happening and i decided to use the name for my new oc instead.
